About TOOSEI
We try more. We send one.
TOOSEI is for people who have already tried the familiar Japanese incense names and want to know what comes next.
Not a catalogue.
Japan already has more incense than most people could reasonably compare. We sample here, narrow the field, and choose one scent for where the year is now.
Not a literal season.
We are not trying to recreate autumn, winter or spring in a box. The season is a reason to look again: what would we actually want to burn in an ordinary room right now?
